How it works

Every clue narrows the field.

Each guess reveals two clues: bulls are letters in exactly the right spot, while cows belong in the word but sit somewhere else. Repeated letters count only as often as they appear in the hidden word. Solve it before your turns run out—the fewer guesses, the sharper the solve.
